Hey, I had the same problem. You should do a manual install. Ill give you the link ok and follow the directions exactly. And you dll isnt missing its in the CoD file. Well first do you see the U.O. file? My uo game wouldnt install so I had to do a manual install. Here is the address activision com Ied give you the straight link but I cant for some reason. From here goto support then pick pc in the format and UO for game and search its the second from the top its all there ok. and only install the filles it tells you. Hope it helps good luck. That is strange they wont let me post a url? well just go to activision and follow the path you will find it. !!!Maj.S.O.B.!!!

Ok we working on some orders about this...follow here:

Question The game will not install.trnsp.gif Answer Make sure you have the 1.4 patch installed prior to doing a manual install of United Offensive.

The 1.4 patch is on the first United Offensive cd. Just browse into the cd and look in the extras\patch\ folder. The patch is called CoD_1.4_Patch.exe.

Try a manual install: 1) Insert CD1. 2) Double-click on the My Computer icon. 3) Right-click on the CD-ROM drive that disc 1 is in and select Explore. 4) Open the Setup\Data folder. 5) Go to the menu at the top and select Edit > Select all. All files should be highlighted. 6) Go to the menu at the top and select Edit > Copy. 7) Browse to the folder where Call of Duty is installed (the default is c:\program files\call of duty) 8) With this folder open go to the menu at the top and select Edit > Paste. The files should be copying over. 9) After the files are done take out disc 1 and put in disc 2. 10) Go back to My Computer and right-click on the CDROM drive that disc 2 is in and select Explore. 11) On disc 2 open the Setup\Data\uo folder. 12) Go to the menu at the top and select Edit > Select all. 13) Go to the menu at the top and select Copy. 14) Open the call of duty folder again open the uo folder within. 15) Go to the menu at the top and select Edit > Paste. The files should be copying over. 16) Once the files are done copying the game will be installed. 17) You can now make shortcuts to the Coduomp.exe and Coduosp.exe executables that are located in the root directory where you copied the files to. 18) Coduomp.exe is used to launch Multiplayer and Coduosp.exe is used to launch Singleplayer.

Please note that the first time you play the Multiplayer portion of the game you will need to enter your CDKEY. Go to the Multiplayer Options menu to enter the Key.
