I have used COD UO for like since it came out and now when I try to connect to a server it appears Waiting for CD Key Authorization and it never authorizes and It continues on that screen. I tried to connect using regular COD and had no problems so the problem is only on UO. Need Help plzzzzz. THx
Are you behind a router and/or Firewall?
I had same prob, So what i did was tryed to connect to a server, so u get the Awaiting verification, Then i press escape key so i go back 2 main menu. Then bring down your console (Press ¬ key) Then type /reconnect then hit enter. This should get u in the game. Then after that it seems to verify ur cd-key. I never had prob since then :D hope this helps m8. Let me know if it works :cya: 3style
Hi, The above solution didnt work for me. Some time ago I had a non original COD installed. Could there be some files left, for instance in the registry, from the old installation that interfer with the new installation? What places on C: does COD put files in? Or is there any other solution to the problem? I have the COD not COD UO by the way and I have no router and I use Zone Alarm as firewall and I have allowed COD MP to access the internet. //Johan

yea if you are behind a firewall, then it might prevent you from joining theh server. try to reset the firewall or if you use a router, then try reseting the router. you can always go back to being primitive and banging your computer until it finally works. but if the awaiting CD key message is on your screen then you probably never will get into the server unless you do something.
He said - he ISN't behind a router, but he uses ZoneAlarm.
So, you have it configred right. What happeneds with it?
I choose one of the servers and as soon as the loading of the game starts I get the message in yellow "awaiting cd-key authorization". Then I'm totally stuck!? I can log on to cracked servers though, for instance via "The all seeing eye" software, but no "none cracked" servers without getting the message above. //J
