UO and COD were working fine about 2 weeks ago, when I tried to run it today, I can hear background music and hear the click if i move the pointer over an option in game, but the screen is black?

I havent made any major changes to system in last 2 weeks

IT also does this with my game Medal Of Honor Allied Assault

any help much appreciated :)

Try unstalling it and then re-install. ALso did u INSTALL Anything in those 2 weeks? If so, delte those files (if u installed or downloaded a file). If that doesnt work, re-install COD, It seems that its something to do with ur PC, if its MOHPA and CODUO

Try uninstalling your video card dirvers, and then reinstalling them. Also, you could try turning off all but the most basic of display settings when you run CoD. To do this (in WinXP) right click on the the game icon, and select "properties." In the properties window, find the compatibility tab, and check off the three options in the middle (Run in 256 colors, 640x480 resolution, disable visual themes).

Good chance this will get CoD to work, even if it looks terrible.
