So my roomate and I were trying to play each other on MP on an internet server...however, it won't let us both sign in at the same time...it basically lets one of us in...then hangs for the other and then boots the one that was in originally....what the hell is going on!! Is it something with the router?? I have a netgear peace o crap router...thanks for the help! andy

No, it is the CD key. Only one is allowed to be used at one time.

Check the user agreement before installing next time. You would know it is illegal to have the game installed on two computers and have it playing on both.

If you want to play with your friend you will need another legal copy of the game.

Thanks for accusing me of stealing software but we both bought the game and have different versions....its not the key trust me...we both just moved in together and have played for months now at our own places...now that we live together it isnt working...it must have something to do with the router... thanks though for the accusations andy

Well, I apoligize. The way you worded it made it sound like you were sharing one game to me.

If your trying to play in the same server and one of you can connect an the other can't, its the server is set up thru pb settings to reject two computers with the same ip address. There is nothing that you can do about this.

If you are talking about having different ips, you would have to get another cable connection thru them, which means pay double what you are now for another cable connection.
