can anyone tell me why I cant chat in multiplayer anymore? everytime I try I get " Unknown cmd". Anyone else experience this? How can I fix it?

Any advice would be appriciated

Well u do know how to right? ''T''.

But if it doesnt work,you probaly unbound it maybe by a bind so try this:

Multiplayer options-->look to see if the commad is set right.

unknown cmd? are you trying to chat through console? dont press ~ when chatting but rather T.

Thanks guys. I did know to use T to chat but I used to use ~ I dont know why, I just got used to it. Any idea why it is suddenly giving me the unknown cmd now?

If your using ~ to chat with and it brings down the console then your typing in that console and hitting return or enter it WILL bring unknown command as your typing the message in the console. If you prefer typing in the console to chat with (even though its slower) you need to type in:

/say then your message here

(well far as I remember thats what ya put lol)

You are correct. For speaking to your team, type /say team blah into console.

I think this guy isn't talking about COD, but UO. You can't chat like you used to in UO through console, without typing /say blah blah.

It used to work in COD by just typing whatever, even without the /say bit.
