Hmmmm, the only two things i can tell you that may fix this is getting the 1.5 / 1.51 patches and changing your options to your correct internet ie. It may be on 56K when you really have cable, leaving the server to not connect. I am not sure if this will work but you can give it a try. Best of luck

Have you disabled your Firewall and/or router? If this is not the problem, I would advise reinstalling COD, and then apply patch 1.4. Then try to see if you get a list of servers. If this checks out ok, then apply pacth 1.5. Check again. If you can't get a list of servers once the 1.5 patch has been applyied, then it will be your cause.

i can get servers and everything else all the info about them and its fully patched, but about 2 or 3 days when i want to join a server basically 99.8% percent of the time it just stays on awaiting gamestate :uhm:

Are you using a firewall and/or router? This is a really important question and we cant help you unless you tell us. Basically turn the firewall off - be it the Windows one, or another make. Then try to connect.
