Im haveing a prob with my multiplayer. Every time i go to CODMP i window pops up telling me to if i want to run codmp in save mode becuse it didnt clos right the last time. so i click yes and it resets and im back to the desktop what is going on?? Can some one plz help me!
if it wont run in safe mode it indicates a fatal problem with the game. i would recommend a complete reinstall.
I don t think reinstalling of game will help. If reinstalling of the game doesn t help then reinstall your Windows. I know, it s too much work, but what can we do?
if you cant contribute anything helpful, then please keep out of things you dont understand kaDaFi. there is NO indication that there is anything wrong with Windows.
The guys problem is prolly due to corrupt pk3 files. This is a GAME SPECIFIC problem - NOT OS!!!
dont bother , MP Cod2 sucks , its GREAT as a single player but ONLINE it is truelly horrible.

I had this issue as well before... It is NOT a Windows OS issue, but game specific. You can ignore it and the game continues to play w/o any noticable problem, but I was not able to clear the error until I did a complete uninstall & reinstall of CoD & CoD:UO. Also... you might want to do yourself a favor if you download mods at all... Since I have learned that the .pk3 files go corrupt or frequently become problematic, what I have done is created a quick emergency fix for CoD and it is now working great :) . Completely uninstall the game and then make sure you delete the folder completely from your hard drive (does not completely delete after uninstall). Then re-start your system and then proceed to re-install CoD, then CoD:UO, patches (CoD - 1.5, CoD:UO - 1.51 & 1.51b). Then install the official CoD map pack. Once done, copy the entire CoD folder to another location on your drive (yes it's 1.5 gb). Now install any maps and mods. When I download any map or mod, I save it to a seperate location on my drive as well so when things go south I dont have to re-download them. Since I did this, 2 mods created various problems for me again, but instead of having to spend 30 - 45 min completely reinstalling the game, all I did was deleted the contents of my CoD folder and copied over my pristeen backup to the CoD directory... PRESTO... DONE!!!! :D My time is worth 2gb of drive space!!!!
