Maybe your discs are damaged. Make sure they are free from scratches and blemishes and then install the game again. And make sure you delete old Call of Duty UO files before installing again.

2 causes of the "missing sound files" error:

1. reinstall your sound driver before you reinstall COD

2. If the sound driver reinstall doesnt work, reinstall COD. It will be down to corrupt pk3 files. (you are always best to reinstall both COD and UO when there are problems that require a reinstall)

If you are getting the error on both PCs it sounds like dirty or scratched game discs.

Clean them with a Laser ROM cleaner, and clean your CD ROM drive heads as well.

Make sure everything is clean and free from scratches
