When I'm in-game (CoD UO) I'll start to freeze up for maybe 10-20 secs at a time, then game will unfreeze for maybe 2-5 mins or so, then freeze up again. It will continue to do this, and when I come completely out of the game, there will be a message box that says CoDUOMP.exe Application Error at the top. There is usually some text before that, but that text seems to vary, it isn't always the same. And in the box there is always a message which refences a memory failure, and it will usually have some varying numbers. The only thing that is really consisten is that it is always an application error with the CoDUOMP.exe file, and it almost always invovles some sort of failure or memory. Also, the thing about this problem is that it doesn't happen in all servers, there are some servers that I play and it will never happen, and others that it will always happen, and still others that it will only happen sometimes. It's weird... also seems to be map-based in some cases, b/c I will be on a server and I will run fine for a 20-30 min map, then we'll do a map switch to like mp_brecourt or mp_railyard, and then I will start to freeze up. I previously had a problem like this in which the game would do the all of the above mentioned freezing and unfreezing but after a couple of times the whole game would either permanently freeze up and require that I close it with the Task Manager, or my comp would freeze up, and I would have to do a hard reboot. I read on a thread from Activison I believe that a solution to this problem was to change the target line of the CoDMPUO.exe, and so I did. I changed the target line to: ""C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\CoDUOMP.exe" +set cl_motd 0" Any help would be appreciated, let me know if you need more information and I will try to post it up here as soon as possible. Thanks. Also, sry for the length of this message. I have updated my video drivers and I have updated PB manually as well.

C:\Program Files\Call of Duty\CoDUOMP.exe" +set cl_motd 0"

Simply disables Motto of The Day

Reinstall the game completely.

Make sure your video drivers are up to date before you reinstall again.
