I get connection interrupted when i play. When I get it, all of a sudden my net goes out for a few minutes. I have firewalls, but even when they are all off it still happens. I have a router. But, at my other home, it is just a modem and I get the same problem. I have wiped my computer 5 times. I have downloaded every free spyware sweeper known to man. Why the hell is it still doing this? Net never cuts out... only when i play games. -Very disturbed, very desperate, sony hating, new computer-in-delivery, krazy_kid.

And oh yea, if I try to join another game right afterwards, I get "Waiting for response from master server"... FOREVER.

road runner at one, wooshnet at the other. oh, and btw, this is not a problem with CoD... its a problem with the whole comp. dunno why i put it in CoD sections. whenever I install a game like CoD, or jedi knight 3: jedi academy i start having those problems. could it be something like my comp not liking the engine they run on? IE if i install bf1942 i dont have any problems. then i install CoD, and i have the above problems with BOTH.

I cant understand this one, as the game should work if you have all the up to date drivers.

But I would suggest the following:

Manually update punkbuster: http://www.evenbalance.com/index.php?page=updatepb.php

Run PBWeb, this will manually update your version for Call of Duty.

I would also recommend using a program like Al Seeing Eye or GameSpy for finding servers, as these are more reliable than Call of Duties internal program.
