First question is how many computers do you have at your house? If you have more than one and one internet connection, then they are hooked to a router. I use a firewall, but its one that comes with the os system I have, its not an outside program. Has for connection problem, do you get alot in one server or different servers? Does it happen more than once in a server? I have notice that a lot of people get this if there computer isn't communicating with the pb server, usually end up getting kick for pb ini failure. Is this happen to you? If you have a firewall running-goto control panel-the to network connections- right click on local area connection- go down to properties and left click, click on advance tab, and diable the firewall, click apply.

Well, here is a alitttle diagnostic.1) hook the computer directly to the internet w/firewall, play CoD, if no connection problem, then its the router, which tells me that you may not be using the right port.

ok i did that and still got it. i recently uninstalled norton antivirus and turned off the firewall in network connections and i STILL got connection interrupted! is there another firewall i dont know about?

aaaaaaaaaaaaall right 2 months later and i still have the problem. I Have been constantly trying to figure it out but i still cant! it seems to be totally random, but then it happens more on some servers, but then it dosent, all i know is that it DOES happen more than 80% of the time. Here is a more in-depth description of my problem. When I play on ANY server, usually within 5 minutes i get a big connection interrupted message and i am bumped off the net for 1-5 minutes. I think i have confirmed that it is NOT the firewall or the router. some people are saying it might be spyware, but i have norton internet security 2004, and spybot S&D. Is there any better free spyware killer? will worship anyone that can help:bows:

Its not the Router!! Routers rock..I have two pc's, one with a modem and the other a Router...the router always holds the connection where the modem drops every half hour sometimes never...depending..but like I said the routers the way to go. Ok...sounds like a spybot or even, dread, a virus..hope not!! But...gotta consider it. :uhoh: Do you have more than one pc?? Is your house double level ( Ill tell you later if need be) If you have 2 pc's, are they plugged in at the same time?? get me back plse.
