Um i have recently set my wireless router up, i used to have a non-wireless won but i changed and i no get connection interrupted, i used to get this with 56k but surely shouldn't happen with a 589.8kps connection!!!!! please help i hate connection interuppted!!!!! Thankyou to everyone who posts it is greatly appreciated!!!!! :bows:

Firstly, make sure that when you are setting up the wireless network NO appliances within 20m of each port are running such as microwaves and TVs - this will screw up the frequencys the router uses. This includes your neighbours if you have any. Secondly, check that your microfilter is working properly. You usually get 2 from your ISP if they supplied your modem. Lastly if you use a phone connection splitter (the thing that splits one phone connection into 2 or 3), make sure that the microfilter goes into the socket first and then the splitter into the phone socket on the microfilter. If you are using a splitter, this is a common mistake. If your microfilter is plugged into a port on the splitter, when you get a phone call it will screw up the broadband connection. It happened to me. I have supplied a picture of the correct hook up if you use a splitter. Done in Paint in 5 mins. Good Luck......
