Okay I've looked in the Help files that come with CoD and I've done what they say but it doesn't change. It says that I didn't install CoD to the right directory (C:\) and I did, and it keeps doing this after multiple reinstalls. If someone could please help me I bet there has been a post like this before and it's probably a noob question but it would be very much appreciated. The following is the message that pops up also: ----- FS_Startup ----- Current language: english Current search path: C:\PROGRA~1\CALLOF~1\main\pak6.pk3 (3 files) C:\PROGRA~1\CALLOF~1\main\pak5.pk3 (4858 files) C:\PROGRA~1\CALLOF~1\main\pak4.pk3 (1668 files) C:\PROGRA~1\CALLOF~1\main\pak3.pk3 (1992 files) C:\PROGRA~1\CALLOF~1\main\pak2.pk3 (694 files) C:\PROGRA~1\CALLOF~1\main\pak1.pk3 (2642 files) C:\PROGRA~1\CALLOF~1\main\pak0.pk3 (12828 files) C:\PROGRA~1\CALLOF~1/main File Handles: ---------------------- 24685 files in pk3 files ERROR: No languages available because no localized assets were found ----- CL_Shutdown ----- ----------------------- Hunk_Clear: reset the hunk ok Couldn't load default_mp.cfg. I've got version 1.0, I see if the game works before I get the patches.

Good idea to test before applying any patches lol. Right to fix the error of the default_mp.cfg you need to copy the file: localized_english_pak0.pk3 to your Main folder of Call of Duty If you dont know how to do this I can give you the long solution lol. But the files located either on CoD1 or CoD2: CDROM : Setup (folder) / Data (folder) / Main (folder)
