I need some help. All these doggone mods that different servers host have (I believe) been making some things mismatched in CoD, and is screwing up my game. I've had a few errors. A long time ago whenever I tried to host a game, there'd be some kind of mismatch. The most recent being with the Kar98. I don't care about hosting a game though. My friend *bleeped* up my original CoD CD, cracking part of it, the size of a penny. I think reinstalling is out of the question at the time, not only because my first CD is cracked, but I believe a friend has my *bleeping* CDs somewhere (last time I loan a game to a friend). The most recent error occurs when I try to play in singleplayer (unforunately with a no-CD crack, but it works). Starting a new game, it loads, but right before it finishes, an error occurs. In the console it says "couldn't register shell shock "default". Image is attached below. I don't know if these stupid downloaded modifications from servers did it, but they're now pissing me off. Not only that, but there's an annoying as *bleep* song playing whenever I start it up.

I have XP, and it was designed for XP. I suggest you read the 'Read Me' file that comes with it.

Hi There.. I Have seen the fixer (or any DOS based program) behave like this when a computer is infected by spyware:( .. You will have to perform the following steps: 1. get rid of all spyware. You can find tons of software that can assist you on this, use google and search for it. 2. Follow these instructions. http://support.microsoft.com/default.aspx?scid=kb;en-us;324767&Product=winxp 3. Run the COD&UO fixer again BTW sorry for the late answer, I am on vaccation  If you have further problems, feel free to post them at the Cod&UO Fixer forum at http://www.dimsen.dk
