OK, I updated my Call of Duty United Offensive with the 1.51 patches. I ran the "start new game" (since you cant run the old ones anymore with the new patch) ran fine. New game started and seemed OK. Then I get online and play some multiplayer on many of the various servers you can connect to through the game. Some of them have custome maps and mods, etc... and I set for automatic download so I can play. Everything seems fine... then I go to start a new game because I never finished the entire series of UO and I get that error message. Wont let me proceed from there. Has anybody else encountered this? What did you do to correct it? Thanks all who respond for your help. I enjoy this game a lot. My user name in multiplayer is KBayRay. Yeah, I am not very good at this game but its pretty fun  Later All KBayRay

You have the AHz vehicle pack in your 'uo' folder. Just remove it (dont delete you may need it when you play an AHz map).

OK, removed it from the UO folder and put it in a separate folder for "Downloads", and now I am getting: Error: pak sum / name mismatch Thank you by the way for your previous solution. I just cut the file out of the UO folder and pasted it in a new folder in the COD folder. Dont think that should cause a problem. Would you have any solutions for this issue also? Thanks again. Later, KBayRay

How do I differentiate between the Custom maps and mods and those that are part of the game? I have never really looked in any of the game folders until now. So I am not really sure just what to be looking for to know what files to move out and which should be left in the folders. I am fairly well informed about file management so I have somewhat of a clue working with files and folders. However I am not much more than a casual computer user. I guess I should make a folder to keep all my multiplayer files in while I am playing the single player mode. Didnt really seem to be a problem when I first started multiplayer games online but I think I had not downloaded any custome content at that point in time. Thank you again for all your great help with this. I really appreciate you taking the time to help me get this all sorted out. :) Later, KBayRay

anything with zzz_ at the start will be a custom map or mod.

anything with pak...pk3 will be a stock file.

I went through both the Main and uo folders. Found files only in the uo folder starting with a z prefix and moved them to a save folder. That seemed to work. I ran the single player game with no errors after that. :) Guess I will transfer them back and forth as needed. Thanks again for all your great help in this. Hope to see you on a server somewhere. This game is a lot of fun. Later, KBayRay
