I've noticed, from comments here, that FPS seems to be a variable that is somewhat important to performance in COD & CODUO. How do I display/change this variable? tia.

go to options/performance and set 'sync every frame' to 'no'. Once you have done that open your console (~), and type /com_maxfps [the number of fps you want]. example /com_maxfps 125 To display your fps open your console and type: /cg_drawfps 1 , to show your fps. /cg_drawfps 2 , for extra info. /cg_drawfps 0 , to turn it off.

Actually I can get fps up to 250, 280 depending on the quaility of connection to the servers, so i recommend setting your max fps to "999"

Redundant settings - CODs threshold is 333, so you cant get anymore than that. Also, be aware that it sometimes gives you a 'false' reading.

There's really no performance gain once you're over 200 anyway, perhaps even lower.
