I am getting a modelindex: overflow error in the early part of the game:mad: WHat can I do to adjust or fix this. It prevents me from going to the next level. This happens during the load.

What are these damn animals?

Activision Answer:

Question I am getting the error: "G_ModelIndex. overflow". Answer If you used cheat codes to give yourself additional weapons you may run into this error. Please revert to an save created before you used the cheat codes.

Cheats Activision does not provide nor support cheats in our games. Cheats are put in a game for testing purposes. The developers will sometimes leave them in as secrets for players to find but we cannot guarantee their full functionality. The only cheats or "codes" that are supported are those provided by the game. If the cheat or "code" cannot be accessed through a simple in-game menu selection then it is not supported.

If you did not use any cheat codes uninstall Call of Duty. Delete the game folder (the default is c:\program files\call of duty). Then reinstall Call of Duty and reinstall the expansion.

If you have any singleplayer saves you wish to preserve from Call of Duty you should backup the \call of duty\main\save\ folder to a safe location prior to deleting the game folder.

If the above still fails to resolve your issue, please try the following:

Make sure your system meets the minimum system requirements of the game.

Make sure you have the latest video and sound card drivers from the manufacturers' websites.

All background applications must be shutdown prior to running the game.
