mate that really sux that you havnt played that long so i hold this helps dude.

Question I receive an error referencing a failure to load a script or animation.

Answer Copy the PAK files from disc 2 to your PC. 1) Place Call of Duty disc 2 in the CD-ROM drive. 2) Open My Computer. 3) Right-click on the Call of Duty CD and select Open. 4) Open the Setup folder on the CD. 5) Open My Computer again. 6) Open the Call of Duty folder on your hard drive, C:\Program Files\Call of Duty. 7) Copy the MAIN folder from the CD-ROM drive into the Call of Duty folder. 8) If prompted to overwrite files, do so.

Did you ever fix your problem with the Player animation load error? I had the same error. The problem is the pk4.pk3 file that is on the disk 2 of COD. My CD has a bad spot on it so I tried putting it into another CD drive to copy the file off the bad CD and that worked. So bottom line is to some how get the pk4.pk3 files from someone else or maybe try another computer CD drive. But that solved my problem. Hope that helps. Capt T.

Yep Capt T, is perfectly correct (and that was post that Matt attack 2k1 referred to! hehehe). Its either your CD ROM/DVD Drive, with either a dirty head, or its the COD CDs scratched or dirty.

1) Clean your Drive or use another. 2) Clean the COD CDs. 3) If problem persists, take the CDs back (if possible). Or get another copy from a friend, and use you serial key to install it.

Possible ways to get pk4 on its own if a friend has it: 1) FTP it. 2) Get them to email you it to you. The pak4.pk3 is 167,607,183 bytes. 3) (bit long winded) Take your PC round to a friend and Lan them together and copy the file across.
