Recently i formatted my computer and did a clean install of Call of Duty. A while back when i first installed Call of Duty i first noticed this problem. In game when i start to fire my MG, the mouse or something catches and it continues to fire without me pressing anything and in order for me to make it stop i have to hit the left mouse again. I know this problem can be fixed because before i formatted i fixed it a long time ago, but i dont remember what i did. Ive asked for help already, some said it was ventrilo and drivers. So i played the game without using ventrilo and installed newer mouse drivers but i still experience. Please help me if you can. Thanks in advance
Ok, first things first. What mouse are u using? Have u tried different mice?
If u have, and the problem is persisting, I suspect its the game's toggle for attack gone astray (these friggin things do that). U can usually force this to rectify itself by binding to another key, and then bind it back to left mouse button.
If this doesn't work for the mouse u usually use, I suggest u use another and see if the force (be with u young Skywalker - sorry!!) to rectify itself works with the new one.
Hope that helps u bud.
i have a cheap old logitech.. but like i said.. i did something a while back to fix it.. but i just dont remember what i did
hehehe, well I can't remember what u did either m8 ;)
But try what i sugested because i had a similar problem with right mouse button aiming down sight. I re-assigned (bound) it to another key (g) and used it during a short (very short) game. Then i re-assigned it back to right button. And it worked.
Good luck m8
well that didnt work.. hope others have some suggestions
If I had that problem I'd change my mouse and see if it was that.
Have ya tried reinstalling the game and see if that works?
**UPDATE** I have noticed now when i get this glitch or whatever it is... it occurs when i hit my right shift key (crouch key) and left mouse..
