First cd no problem but when I put the second cd into the drive, nothing happens. The cd is clean and its have no straches. When I put the second cd into the drive to test the cd is working the dvd/cd combo drive dose not detect the cd. It nothing wrong with the drive. Is it a faulty cd? If is not, how do I fix it. Call up activision, tell them in detail exactly what happened, let them know u've never been able to play ur united offensive, they'll probably tell u 2 send'm the cd's and u'll get 2 new 1's.

sounds like a faulty disc. Just take the game back to the store where you purchased it, and they are obliged to replace it.

Here is a update and you will no believe this. I said in my first letter that I cannot install COD United offensive. Then I said there is nothing wrong with my DVD/CD drive. Well this what happen. I rang Activision up and tell them whats wrong and he told me to do this. He told me to try another DVD/CD drive which I haven't got one working. So I want to a computer shop in town to try in in a another computer with a different drive then this I have. Guess what? That second CD worked. As I started to drive home I went into the computer shop where I got this computer from. I put this CD (with some help) to a computer with with the same DVD/CD drive I got. It did not read it. Then the bloke who is helping me went to another computer with a different DVD/CD drive and it read it. That means there is something wrong with driver or what you call it firm work of the DVD/CD drive that make it read the disc itself. So they told me a couple things to do. Update the DVD/CD driver or fit another drive into my computer. So I tried the first and I could not do it. So I do another thing. About a week before I brought this computer I brought a CD Burner with a DVD combo for my old computer which it was in the way out. So I rang the computer shop where I got this computer from to fit in for me. Well they fitted drive into this computer for me and guess what, that CD worked. So I went home to install COD United Offensive and it worked. The DVD/CD driver I had problems with installing this game with is a Sony and the CD player that read that second CD is Combo. There is still nothing wrong the the Sony DVD/CD drive itself but there is something wrong with the driver itself. And I enjoy playing COD United Offensive. Gerza71
