I have read other threads regarding this problem and it would appear that I may have to un-install and re-install the game. Will I lose everything, maps etc., when I do this? Everything has been fine since I first loaded the game. I received WinSP2 the other day and loaded it. The game worked fine after that. I updated by virus software to Nortons 2005 and I think the problem started after that. I have turned off the Nortons and still no servers show up. I have ZoneAlarm and it has never caused a problem with the game. Any thoughts are appreciated.

Firstly..... Norton? It is a piece of crap. An expensive piece of crap (hope your uncle isn't anyone to do with Synematic!). If Norton is conflicting then get rid of it. Get the free version of AVG here: www.grisoft.com

If that doesn't solve it/you don't want of get rid of Norton then make sure the settings at the top of the window in which the servers appear says "Internet" and not "LAN" or "Local". Good Luck.

Thanks Reven, for the response. I would hate to throw out the Nortons seeing I paid for it. I have always had Norton but an older version and just updated the files as needed. I thought it was time to upgrade to the newer version. Everything on the server page is set right. I only use the internet and favorite folder in TDM mode. Mostly I use the servers in favorites. I have turned off my Nortons and tried it but maybe thats not the same as actually removing it. Thanks Again

Well, you may as well use it for the years subscription, but just letting you know that there are companies equal to if not better than Norton with their virus definitions. You won't need ZoneAlarm now either if you have Service Pack 2 - it has a build in firewall. Having 2 would just take up more memory.
