PunkBuster provides the ability for Server Admins to specify a list of acceptable player cvar value ranges while playing on the Game Server. When each player connects to a PB-Enabled Server, the PB Client will download the list of acceptable cvar ranges from the PB Server and will check all of the player's cvars for compliance.

The command is PB_SV_CVAR

To fully understand how it works, i suggest u check out the following link to the pb admin server side manual:

http://www.evenbalance.com/publications/cod-ad/index.htm#commands

Scroll down until u find 'Monitoring Game Variables'.

Hope that does it for u bud :D

In the event that the 'hacker' is using a PB Hacking cheat such as an aimbot or wallhack. You can do the following commands to catch them. If for instance a user on your server is using a wallhack, you can catch them by doing the following command: /rcon pb_sv_getss This will get PB's master server at Activision to take a Screenshot of the person's screen, much like 'Print screen' in windows. This screenshot will then be sent to your server. In order to download or view the screenshots, you must enter the server via FTP or contact your Game server Company and ask for the files in question. Other useful commands: /rcon pb_sv_autoss 1 pb_sv_autoss 0 The command with the variable "1" will get PB to take a screenshot automatically every 3 minutes of everyone on the server. Most game servers limit the overall file number to 100 so make sure you download and manage these files well. The variable "0" Turns this off if it is turned on already. Most PB servers update automatically and can detect invalid Cvar values without the Server Admin having to look. PB also kicks automatically people with invalid Cvar values.

Another one I like to use is the pb_sv_cvarwalk. Once you have cvar checks in place you can do this (it's found in the pbsv.cfg): pb_sv_CvarWalk 0 //[0=disabled, 1-4=Walk through obtained Cvar lists] The only drawback I've seen is the lag that is caused by the cvarwalk. This is taken directly from my config, and at 4 it lags about every 15-25 seconds depending on the number of people in the server. I haven't tried the others settings as of yet.
