Hello, I've had the game for about two weeks, I've downloaded the 1.4 patch, and everything's been working smoothly. I've been able to get on basically all the multi-player maps and play just fine. But now for some reason everytime I go to play on multi-player map, it starts downloading some weird thing like pk3, and almost every map does it. Even after I download it sometimes it don't work, and sometimes it does, but I go to play the same server later on, and it starts downloading again, and it takes 15 mins or so. Please help, I can't download it everytime I want to play, any suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks a lot.

I've never played call of duty but i'm guessing it's custom content that you have to download in order to play on thier server. My suggestion is to just let it download. If all else fails, backup your saved games and reinstall. Hope I was able to help

When you start up multiplayer go to the Multiplayer options and look down and you'll see Allow Downloading click on it to change from Yes to No, this means that you wont download any Custom maps or sounds like you've been doing. Custom maps and mods are what some clans have that, so you can play other maps than what the game offically gives out. Custom mods are different sounds or playablility on the game ie: grenade shocks and taunts. Sometimes its easier to download them from places like CoD Files than to let your game download them, as this wont interrupt your game play when your trying to connect to a server. Just go to the above web site and look under Call of Duty downloads and you'll find the custom maps and sounds there, if you want to download them you have the option before playing the game, but remember to put the files inside your Call of Duty Main Folder.
