I have had COD installed before no problem. I just restarted my computer. And loaded COD for the first time and i get a message box that reads: Fatal Error CONFIGURE.CSV Not Found I have never seen this before and had no problem in the past. If anyone knows anything, or if more info is needed, it would be greatly appreciated. Thank You Mike
I looked on Activisions customer support page and looked up the problem. It said if there was a "No-CD" or some other patch on there. But I do not have anything done to it. It was a fresh install. Thanks for any help. Mike
I hope this helps someone else. But I fixed the problem. Maybe it was a fluke but it worked. I searched around forums for a similar problem and someone had the same thing. They said to check the disk for smudges (which mine had), and then I just re-copied the PAK0.pk3 off of the COD CD. In the MAIN folder. And overwrote the one that was in there. And BAM. It works now. I hope this can one day help someone else out. Thanks Mike
We do ask people to search the forum before asking as the problems have mostly been asked and answered. But the most common problems are witht eh files that havent been copied over from the installation discs.
We had the same problem. we are trying to install call of duty on some computers at school and we can't find those files. it's not just that one configure.csv file. there are 3. we haven't figured it out. keep me posted. Smoke Weed Everyday!
