Ive no idea what the
the new TWL rules about the white list
is, but the 3 sound files is down to either of 2 causes:
1. a sound driver problem
2. Some pk3 files are corrupt.
Reinstall the games, remembering to delete the COD folder that gets left behind in install directory (default is: C:/Program Files/Call of Duty)
If that doesn t solve it, reinstall your sound driver.
just another dumb opinion

ive read that changing your sound to 22khz fixes alot of stuff--- i did and ive gotten no problems after that--- just a thought

Acitivision support (*lol*) does mention something to the sort of setting sound to 22khz for addressing certain issues (not this one exactly). So try it to see the results prior to un-install / re-install (1 min v 30 min).
