I could not uninstall call of duty so in a forum I read that I could do it manually. Now I don't see the install option on my cd. I went to register edit to take the cod.ini out and anotheone also, something like: codu.ini and it does not wok. Could you please help me. Thanks in advance

Run Regedit and go into... HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE > Software Delete the Activision folder (or go into the Activision folder and delete the 'call of duty' or the 'call of duty united offensive' folder thats if you have other Activision software installed rather than just call of duty).

I would perform a complete manual uninstall to ensure that everything is removed by doing the following. 1. uninstall the game via the control panel add/remove programmes 2. Check that the CoD folder is totally removed 3. Run a registry cleaner to remove any left over entries 4. Check the windows folder for any CoD or CoDUO related ini files and delete them. 5. Re-boot to ensure any thing in the RAM is removed 6. Re-install and all should be good. BB1
