I know this is one of the most common problems people have. However please bare with me. Ive looked at the top at your solution to this problem. No Fix. Used that Finder thing. No Fix Looked on Activision for support. No Fix I am a Computer Administrator on this pc. My pc can adequately handle the game and has done for the time CoD has been out, so i dont know why im having problems now. I recently uninstalled CoD and CoD:UO because i wasnt playing it regularly. Now however ive reinstalled it, patches etc, and im getting this problem. I appreciate that you probably get this alot, but there doesnt seem to be a solution that ive found to help me. Believe me ive searched alot. Any help would be much appreciated. Thanks.

If that was my PC I would uninstall the game CoD and if I have it UO as well, then I would delete the folder Call of Duty. Once this was done I would reinstall both games then apply the patches and then try the game. If I still had the problem I would reinstall the game after a uninstall of the game first lol, then I would test the game before installing the patches. But if that still didnt work I would think it was something to do with the software ie Windows O/S, and make another account - Administrator and try again on that account.

They'll just tell you that to make sure you are the administrator of the computer and if you are uninstall the games and then delete the folder and then try a reinstallation of the games.

LOL! Your right. Got an email over an hour ago saying exactly that. I think i may have sussed the problem in that Call of Duty was being used on two different login profiles (read somewhere that having it on two different profiles causes conflicts with punkbuster)...... Well ive deleted one profile so hopefully this will solve the problem.:uhm:

Right so i solved this problem. But decided it needed a fresh install. Just to make sure nothing else would happen. Subsquently after the reinstall when i look into the CoD Folder, i find no folder named PB. Where on earth did Punkbuster go?? 1.5 patch is installed, therefore it should be there .... however its not. Now i get no packet flow and get kicked from server. :uhm: Had it sorted now this happens, great..... I added you to msn, my email was simple2k5@hotmail.co.uk, just incase you were wondering who added you.
