I tried numerous times reinstalling it but it doesnt work. Is there anything else i can do?

check the pk3 file sizes. these are what usually fekk up the game.

these are the right sizes (from Activisions Support Site):

If you uninstall, make sure you delete the COD folder which gets left behind. Then after the initial reinstall, check the sizes of the pk3 files on 1.0. Perhaps play it (was surpirsed to see so many 1.0 mp servers around the other day).

if any files dont match, that indicates a copying problem. Check your CDs are clean and free from scratches. If necessary, clean your laser head with a ROM cleaner.

If the game is installed but some of the files sizes arent right, copy/paste them right off the CDs and replace the existing ones. You will find all the pk3 files on the CDs in folders: Setup > Data
