I am looking to set up a second instance on my server. It's windows server 2000 and CoD 1.5, Connecting to server through remote desktop. is it just a matter of creating a new shortcut and pointing to a different whatever.cfg? if so how do i eliminate the mods, that dont include thier own cfg's to disable them?

Hmmm not sure what your talking about here. Lets take it step bt step: If you have a second installation of COd on your pc, then the cod.ini file will refer to this particular installation. But this shouldn't affect your ability to host a COD server via its net port. Just set up the server in the usual way - create a server configuration file, place it in that particular directories' 'Main' COD folder, and then exec it on start up. You eliminate any mods by not including them in the server config file. Hope that answers your quiries, but I'm not entirely confident I understood u correctly.
