If you get the Weapon or Ammo mismatch error, when you try to join a server try this: 1. Download the Cod purity fixer here: http://callofduty.filefront.com/file/CODUO_Purity_Fixer;41461 2. Unzip and install coduofix.msi 3. Start the CoD&UO fixer from the startmenu. 4. When this screen is displayed, I suggest you select option (K) coduofix.jpg When the program is done, your COD or UO should work just fine. Some of your maps might be missing after the CoD UO fixer has run, They have been moved to the directory called customfiles in your game dir. The files moved from the Main dir is in the main folder, the files that was removed from your UO dir is in the UO folder. Simply move the maps you want to keep back in to the correct folder. If you move a faulty PK3 file, the error will occour again, to solve it you will have to run the CoD&UO Fixer again. The CoD&UO Fixer will also fix most crosshair problems. If you want to skip the changes the Cod&UO fixer did to your game, simply select (R) Restore at the main screen. If you find a weapon or Ammo mismatch error that can't be fixed, please report it here: http://reg24dk.hosted-forum.com so i can fix the problem in the next version of the program. Feedback and comments are also very welcome here. Hope this helps some you smilie.gif

Thanks for the nice words tally & Suede-y .. It's real nice to see you how you guys helps ppl with their problems:bows: tally, i noticed that you told the guy in this thread: http://forums.filefront.com/showthread.php?t=198035 To get rit of his config files, great idea.. I will put this option in the next version of the Purity fixer. If you guys have any other suggestions on how I can improve the fixer, please let me know. A few things that I'm working on now is: The customfiles folder will be removed to the directory where the COD fixer is installed. MD5 Check of all the original files, and prompt you to insert the CD(s) if a file is corrupted. An Extreme FIX option that will keep only original files, delete config files, and generate a new shortcut for the games. A "known mod" folder will be added to customfiles, this will contain the mods that have been installed directly to either the main or uo folder, instead of main\modname or uo\modname . (and the location of the file offcause). If you have comments or suggestions, just let me knowsmilie.gif

Yah, If there was another program to put back all the custom files back in your main.

There are some options: If you start the fixer and select (R) Restore, it will restore ALL PK3 files to the folders where they were removed from. However this will also restore the pk3's that cointains errors, so this is not recomended. You can copy your "known maps" from the gamedir\customfiles\main, back to gamedir\main by hand, and test if the game still works. If the game fails, just run the fixer again with the (K) Keep some .. option, and try again with fewer files at the time. The same prosess can be done with from the gamedir\customfiles\uo folder, theese just have to be placed in gamedir\uo instead of main. I will add more known maps to the fixer, as soon as i find them. If you want to help me, please post your known maps, and known mods here: http://www.hosted-forum.com/index.php?boardid=reg24dk&showforum=6

If any one want to checkout the version 2.1 BETA you can get it here:http://reg24dk.hosted-forum.com My PC with WinXP is not working, so it have only been testet on win2k. (It should be running on XP as well, but I can't confirm it yet) If any of you guys test it, please let me know. News in beta version: 27 New maps added to the list of known maps.

The "Customfiles" directory (where the removed *.PK3's is stored), is moved to the CoDUO Fixer install directory.

Known Mods is added to the customfiles directory, this folder will contain known *.PK3 Mods, from the root of the UO and Main folder. If a mod is installed correctly, as gamedir\modname\mod.pk3 it wont be removed.

Readme.txt is changed to readme.rtf (so i can add screenshots)

Ok dude, Ill test it out for you. Would be nice if your proggy could remove a patch and leave 1.0 intact. Can it be done? I should imagine it could if it used Windows XP roll back feature to roll back before the upgrade.
