I am trying to runing a dedicated and I get this stuff and I do not know what to do about it please help me? This is caused by having a dynamic IP address. This means that, everytime you connect to the internet, you are assigned a new IP address. Sometimes the game cannot resolve (i.e. 'connect you on') an opening to the Master Servers (there are 5, with mirrors all over the World) on a 'changing' IP address because it is tempoarary. The error - WARNING: UDP_OpenSocket: bind - means that the game is trying to resolve for you the port that you can connect on. If you look closely, it is going through a series of port addresses for you, but cannot resolve them for you. Contact your ISP (Internet Service Provider), and ask them for a static IP address. Normally, these can be obtained from them without charge, but it does take a few days to sort out. Otherwise, you'll have to leave the Network details out of you server config file, but you WILL NOT be able to run a dedicated server, but a LAN/Non-Dedicated server, which has an 'opening' on the Master Servers (called a 'node') for you. Other players will be able to see you, but if they enter your server in a Favorites list, the next time you run your server, the details will disappear from that list coz the IP would have changed. If the player knows the NAME of your server, he can find your server again, but it is a bit unstatisfactory from a certain point of view.

LOL - you can run the server anyway you want m8, but the question is will it work? Read the post I made about your problem. That might give you some idea about whether it will work or not winkx.gif

OK, I fix some of it but this one I do not know that to do. It says execing server.cfg Hitch warning: 895 msec frame time does this mean at the server.cfg there is something worg with is?

Of course you can run a server!! Though you have dynamic or static ip. It is pain in the butt but you can run your server with dynamic ip address. Main problem is game couldnt resolve ip address with the dns so it keep transfering to another ports to resolve but he cant resolve it. So you need to resolve manually! How?? Find Ip Address - resolving IP addresses into DNS names Go to this website and type your ip address in resolve ip address box. It will resolve for you. The start the game with the resolved ip address instade of ip address. e.g. +set net_ip "resolved ip" Good Luck Legend :)
