agh! first its freezing, then FPS, then its exiting to desktop and now its going to blue screens!!! what the HELL is wrong with my PC??!?:bawl: sheesh! ok... when it goes to blue screen, it says "MACHINE_CHECK_EXCEPTION" and its a hardwar issue... do you think i might have to get some windows updates or something?? and how do i do that?? thanks:cya: _______________ CallumRtCW!:eek:

that didnt word! all the causes and stuff on that are... well there is nothing wrong with those things... and it weird because liek, on that page it says it does it on pentiums, or how ever you spell it, and mine is an AMD!!!! what the funk?

I fonds out that its all to do with the CPU where the error is. I would highly recommend you taking your pc to a repair shop as they would beable to fix it. I will point to your AMD processor as the fault.

Its something to do with the Level 2 cashe of the processor.

You could try going to the motherboards BIOS then look for CPU level 2 cashe and see if its enabled and put it to disabled. If thats what you mean.

Callum, Google MEMTEST86, download it and run it. It might take a couple days to run depending on how much memory you have. What it does is it tests every sector of your RAM for bad sectors. These bad sectors will cause your game to crash and often times give you the blue screen of death. Also, if you're using an older graphics card (DirectX 8 generation or older) the card may crash when DirectX tries to send newer commands to the card. These crashes are usually reproducable, however.

ive got it, but i dont know how to run it. it says something about putting it on a floppy disk or something, i install it onto it, and i go in the floppy, and its blank??! and i have one gig of RAM, so...winkx.gif
