I have been having problems with my Call Of Duty uninstall process. When I try to uninstall It says the Install log can't be found. Can anyone help?

Yeah man. Windows has a program which uninstalls things for you. I'm sure you know it - it's called Add/Remove Programs. It's this which cannot uninstall COD for you, but it can be done manually. And, for the description of how to do this, highroyds needs to know whether your using Xp or another OS as the description is slightly different for them.

But if you know how to manually uninstall - then do so dude. No need to post back for that. But it might be nice to post if you get it sorted none the less. ;D

And btw, a Happy New Year to you, and everyone else on the forum.

I have the same problem, uninstalled the game like 2 months ago and want to re-install it again. (I dont have the problem with CoD, but wih Cod: UO) But as soon as I load the installer it gives me the error: "There is already installed a version of UO, please use Add/remove programs to blah blah" etc. but than in Dutch (since I'm from the Netherlands). I hate it, I want to play UO but dont know what to do now, I didt everything: searched on the UO CD manually for the install.exe but doesnt work since the errors come from this file, manually deleted some reg keys but cant find them all, used reg seekers and cleaners to delete them and they found alot of them but not the one that says that uo is still installed to the installer. So if anyone know a solution please tell it to me (mail to rob_van_der_vleugel@hotmail.com) Greetings, Rob btw. here are my system specs: Windows XP home edition Cod uo was probably installed on F:\Cod UO or something (F drive for sure) Pentium 4, 1.8 Ghz Geforce 4 MX 440 64 MB (yes this one sucks :( ) 512 MB DDR RAM Need to know more?

Try a manual install: 1) Insert CD1. 2) Double-click on the My Computer icon. 3) Right-click on the CD-ROM drive that disc 1 is in and select Explore. 4) Open the Setup\Data folder. 5) Go to the menu at the top and select Edit > Select all. All files should be highlighted. 6) Go to the menu at the top and select Edit > Copy. 7) Browse to the folder where Call of Duty is installed (the default is c:\program files\call of duty) 8) With this folder open go to the menu at the top and select Edit > Paste. The files should be copying over. 9) After the files are done take out disc 1 and put in disc 2. 10) Go back to My Computer and right-click on the CDROM drive that disc 2 is in and select Explore. 11) On disc 2 open the Setup\Data\uo folder. 12) Go to the menu at the top and select Edit > Select all. 13) Go to the menu at the top and select Copy. 14) Open the call of duty folder again open the uo folder within. 15) Go to the menu at the top and select Edit > Paste. The files should be copying over. 16) Once the files are done copying the game will be installed. 17) You can now make shortcuts to the Coduomp.exe and Coduosp.exe executables that are located in the root directory where you copied the files to. 18) Coduomp.exe is used to launch Multiplayer and Coduosp.exe is used to launch Singleplayer.

Please note that the first time you play the Multiplayer portion of the game you will need to enter your CDKEY. Go to the Multiplayer Options menu to enter the Key

Wow thanks dude! Didnt know it was so easey to manually install this game :P Normaly games have compressed files, and sometimes the are even decrypted. Btw "Copy the data dir from both cds to the CoD folder" was enough! You didnt need to post 18 steps, I'n not dumb :P
