"MD5 toold missmatch 'cod.bmp'"

everyonce in a while i get kicked and thats the explination. sometimes it'll be something else, but mostly it's cod.bmp.

Do you have a different loadingscreen or other ones installed in your Main directory ? If so then delete them, that should help I guess.

fresh install minus miles' m1 skin but i got this problem before that, too.

Mismatch means that you pak3 files (which are the game files) are corrupt.

You need to do a fresh installation of the game. If you get a read error when installing try the installing from a different cd/dvdrom drive.

Its because sometimes when you install the game the files are not copied all the way, sometimes they only half done, otherwise its the patch that you download for the game, its only half the size that it should be and that corrupts the game too.
