Why am I getting this error message in CoD? It only appears when I attempt to load the map 'Panzermine'. Most errors I can figure out and fix on my own, but this one isn't giving me any clues. None that I recognize anyhow. error7sa.th.jpg

Depending on what version you have of CoD you have to do a number of things to get this problem sorted out. v1.1 ((when you've only installed the game and not applied any patches do the following)) Question I receive an error: CMOD_LoadBrushes XXXX.trnsp.gif Answer 1) Place Call of Duty disc 2 in the CD-ROM drive. 2) Open My Computer. 3) Right-click on the Call of Duty CD and select Open. 4) Open the Setup folder on the CD. 5) Open the Data folder on the CD. 6) Open My Computer again. 7) Open the Call of Duty folder on your hard drive, C:\Program Files\Call of Duty. 8) Copy the MAIN folder from the CD-ROM drive into the Call of Duty folder. 9) If prompted to overwrite files, do so. Higher Version of CoD ie: 1.2, 1.3, 1.4, 1.5: Uninstall the game delete the folder Call of Duty then reinstall the game and do the above, then test the game out, once the game is working apply the patch 1.4 or 1.5 depending which version you want to play multiplayer on. If this doesnt solve the problem it maybe because of a graphics driver problem in which case you will need to download and install the latest driver and then install latest DirectX 9.0c. if this doesnt solve your problem let us know.

The map was removed from the rotation before I could test this out. I'll remember this post though for future reference. THX!
