ok the game keeps lagging so badly that i can't play at all. i have game of the year edition and i downloaded 1.5 and the game of the year edition fix and neither have helped. i have the latest direct x installed and my system passes all requirements with flying colors. i also set my screen resolution to 800x600. someone please help me!

what are your specs of the pc and have you defragged lately?

intel pentium 4 3ghz ram is 512 ati mobility radeon 9000 IGP windows xp its a compaq laptop thats not even a month old. i haven;t defragged it because i've barely had it.
