Hello all, I was trying to skin the actual people in the game, but when I open up photoshop it asks me what file size I should open it in. Whenever I pick the photoshop default it just gives me a white screen with no picture to edit. Thanks for your help.

open an orignal skin (IWI file) in PS, then that will give you the size you need.

Dont take this the wrong way - but I suspect from how you have just posted that this might be a little beyond you. I'll help out where i can, but i would suggest that perhaps you read a few tutorials on skinning.

There is one on codfiles that you can download, or try those at modsonline.

Actually, I'm smarter than I appear. (and thanks for the help) I have read a couple of tut's on skinning and I've already skinned the g_43_c. However, I''m just having trouble opening the "human" files.

if you have skinned a weapon before, then u must know that you have to convert an IWI file to DDS. then open it in PS (or something that will handle DDS files).

Thanks, but I already worked out my problem. I was trying to convert the .gsc files, not the iwi files. Have a good day! :)
