I've now beaten the game and noticed that everyone dies quite similar :uhm:. Sure.. there are great animations such as grabing the throat and falling down, or crawling away and dieing.. But I think it would be a great addition to the game if there was the "Ragdoll Effect." This effect would open a whole new world with Grenades and such. Im not sure how exactly one would go about adding Ragdoll, but im sure some great teams could add this. Its sorta lame to see an enemy die on the stairs and lay there flat, I would love to see the enemy roll down the stairs realistically, and fly through the air moving randomly when hit with an explosion (:0wned: ). Games such as "Counter-Stike:Source" and "Half-Life 2" became big due to this implementation in my opinion, Does anyone think it is possible to do this? I give my assistance in any way possible. Thanks to all who read this post.

I'm guessing this would be impossible without the cod2 source code. IW decided to go with an animation system again because they thought ragdoll did'nt show the emotion of a character dying by just floping through the air, somthing like that. However I agree with you, I hate the lame animation system. I mean they could of at least mixed it. Like for example, when grenades explode, or once the enemy dies it has ragdoll properties which like you said, stop it from floating above stairs and such.

I would love ragdoll physics to be in CoD2. I love the way games like FarCry, Battlefield 2 and Half Life 2 use the ragdoll effect.:)

COD2 ragdoll will not happen. It'd be nice, but it's not gonna happen. (Because, you see, it requires more effort than importing the ones from the original COD)
