I have adsIdleAmount set to 60, the adsCrouchFactor set to 20 and the adsProneFactor set to 10. The sway of the gun is fine at first. But if you remain idle for a little bit the sway becomes UNBEARABLE!

How can you make the sway of the weapon stay constant? I want it to remain like it does when you first hold the sights up without remaining idle. Can you keep the sway constant? Which variables do I need to alter?

Yes, I've done that. I have the speed at 2. If I turn the speed down to .3 or something then the sway of the gun is so slow you cannot even tell that it is moving. That's also the situation with the IdleAmount variable.

Is there anyway I can make it so that the sway stays constant no matter what?

I think you will find its more the adsidleSpeed which needs adjusting on its own - without touching adsidleAmount.

all settings in the weapons files are a balancing act. There is no gauge which will tell you how to get the settings balanced right. Its all trial and error Im afraid. Ive spent a week on one weapon (M4a1 - for Modern Weapons mod), tryng to get it just right. drove me mad at points.
