Sorry if this has been posted already. I loked but didnt see anything

Are there any realism mods out there that make killing eaiser, I hate it when I shoot enemies and they get back up, 1 shot from the k98 in the chest should render an enemy down and dead. Anything out there like this

Oh and this is for Singleplayer

have you searched codfiles for SP realism mods? Try looking at some of these:

http://callofduty.filefront.com/file/Camillo_CoD2SP_Realism_Mod;56827

http://callofduty.filefront.com/file/LtSpeirs_Realism_Mod;55730

http://callofduty.filefront.com/file/WCP_Mod_Pack;54947

The last one, WCP, is a very good SP mod, and the 'realism' settings are very good.

That 2nd one on the list sounds like an mmo version of sp!LOL I tried to find how his frame rate booster for it works, but couldn't find any details. It seems it would have to considerably ramp down the graphic settings to account for all the extra troops.

I am currently using the Beyond the Call of Duty mods for both COD and UO, written by Juuso "Mr Big Mister" Rautaharju which uses weapon and character skins from the Heat of Battle Team. I don't know where he got his sounds, but they are much better than those from the Intensity mod which uses Saving Private Ryan sounds.

WCP sounds interesting, but the readme isn't nearly as detailed as BtCoD. What about ammo loadouts, weapon sound volume, etc? I would like to see a Beyond the Call of Duty mod for COD2. Some of these mods amp the weapon volume up so loud you can't even hear the troops. You have to turn the volume back up after the battle.

If I were to make a full realism mod, or even assemble one from other mini mods as WiCopp did, I would include a very thorough readme. It's the only way you really know how it compares to other full realism mods. You shouldn't have to do a lot of trial and error testing just to find out what's in it. The only test should be the quality and volume of the sound, though the volume can be explained in detail too.

I just made one but haven't released it. You can look over the specs of it in the "Help modding health values" thread". Just email me at wolvesgoalie@gmail.com if you want it, it's a small file, so I could send it as an attatchment.
