ya knoe. I had another evolation. someone shuld make it so the shell casing saty forever, and clips on the ground when you reload. that would make it more real and that would be sweet!

Yeah - I agree with ya Harry...that would be one of those very small details that would add some more realism to the game. Yet - there must be some reason why they disappear after a few seconds in the actual games...maybe a build up of those things causes slow down or something buggy to happen.

yea, but I meen they dont have to stay for ever, most levels you move on and dont come back. the clip thig would be cool too. they got it in SWAT 3 and Ghost Recon AW.

I've tried making the casings last forever, but the game engine has some sort of limit on how many effects the game can have running at one time, so halfway through the level you start having no shell ejections, grenade explosions, or even muzzle flashes. If someone can figure out how to remove that cap, then the only hard part would be the discarded mags. Right now I'm only running on one 512mb ram chip, because my otherone died, so the blow to my FPS might be a bit too much at the moment, so I'll let someone else try and do it. Maybe Tally could figure it out, it seems he has explored almost all of the game's inner workings, so I think he could figure it out.

Umm, shellcasing? I think it`s easy to make it stay forever, but gonna lag a bit. You need to add casing to the weapon files, edit the animscripts\init.gsc and maps\utility.gsc.... Edit fx\shellcasing or casing, make the life a bit more or remove "life". Add xmodel\shell_rifle or something many times so it comes double amount it stays longer. If all is good, it should stay alot more and may foreva

That's what I tried, but it's something within the game engine that limits the amount of fx, so when the casings last forever (or a really long time) then the engine overloads with fx.
