I have and ATI Radeon 9550. I am got it two years ago a couple days after Christmas. I have been running COD 2 on DX7 with the settings on max, but when I switch to DX9 it becomes a little laggy:bawl: . Is there something to do with my graphics card becuase it is old?? Or is there something else? ---CrapshootBob---

nothing you can do about it Im afraid. DX9 will cause lag with a card like that.

nope, RAM wouldnt help, as its the limited pixel pipes you have in the card (what generates the images).

When Windows Vista comes out next year, and we all have to move to DX10, your card wont even run a game built for DX10.

Like the rest of us, you will have to upgrade eventually.

What kind of computer do you have? If its over 4 years old you might have to buy a whole new computer that has pci express.
