Hi, Please help my cod 2 is messing up, everything is fine until a grenade blows up next to me, it disconnects me and then show this below. Please HELP!!! 1/ You're running 1.0, which is quite old now

2/ Try removing these files : they are mods and should NOT stay in your main folder C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\main\z_powerserver_mod_v05.iwd (15 files) C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\main\zzz_MOAM_v1.0.iwd (51 files) C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 2\main\user_mp_Bjusters_taunts.iwd (33 files)

its a sound driver issue:

couldn't initialize 2D provider: waveOutOpen() failed.

The game wouldn't pick up the mods unless he was going onto a server with them enabled.

Reinstall your sound driver.

No, the techniqueset errors are standard in COD2 - everyone gets them. Its believed to be a residue from the 360 code.
