copy your COD2MP_s.exe shortcut. Place it on your Windows desktop also.

Right click it, and then left click 'properties'. You will see a box named 'target'. In there is the directory patch to your COD2 install (default "C:\Program Files\Activision\CODMP_s.exe").

Click into the 'traget' box, so that your cusor is at the end of the command line. Press the space bar to create a space. Now add this:

+set fs_game awe3b5 +set sv_punkbuster 1 +exec dedicated.cfg +map_rotate "

Click 'ok' to save the changes

Each of the +set is a switch.

If you dont have a server config file, use the example provided by AWE mod. Name it whatever you like, but most people call it dedicated.cfg.

Whatever you do decide to name it, that is what you put in place of +set dedicated.cfg.

With the newly edit shortcut now set up, when you double click it, it will load COD2 via the fs_game awe3b5 game folder.

"D:\Program Files\Call of Duty\CoDUOMP.exe" +set fs_game awe2.12 +exe awe.cfg +map_rotate " this shortcut does not work, i still have to Launch my awe 2.12 mod and then i have to exec awe.cfg after i get in game. after that i hit map-restart, then i have to make new server for the changes to show.
