I have a g5 logitech mouse and it won't let me assign the side button to nades (or anything else) I changed it in the .cfg file as well and still nothing.

I emailed activision and they said the game doesn't support a three button mouse which is bs because two guys in my clan use a five button and it works fine.

Any suggestions?

if you can assign keys to the buttons, you can then bind actions etc to them in cod2. you can do this with the microsoft 5 button mice, coz you can program the keys.

I think you can only get actions assigned to the keys on logitech mice, and not keys. but i might be wrong.

You can assign mouse buttons to key strokes. I have a G-7 mouse and have done it. Just use the Logitech software and set up the mouse.

indeed check the mouse software, if nothing else works in the mouse sw map the side keys to some other buttons, like i dunno home, end etc. and bind the game stuff to those buttons anyway my mx518's sidebuttons are supported by cod2 without any setting
