I know this subject has been beat to death, but I haven't found any good topics to help my situation. I'm trying to add custom maps to the server and make them available through a HTTP redirect (aka Fast Download). ok, here's the config I'm using: //Download set sv_allowdownload "1" set sv_wwwDownload "1" set sv_wwwBaseURL "http://tpbclan.clanservers.com/tpb" set sv_wwwDlDisconnected "1" seta sv_dl_maxRate "900000" I have a directory in the same area as "Main" called "tpb" with the same file structure as in "Main". When I try to connect to the server via cod2, it gives me a "Download Failure" error message. Note that this is for cod2 and not uo. Any help would be appreciated Thanks

p.s.forgot to mention that I have the custom maps in both directories

This is the bit that confuses me:

I have a directory in the same area as "Main" called "tpb" with the same file structure as in "Main".

What do you mean by "in the same area as "Main"?

If your maps are in your servers 'main' folder, then create a folder on your webspace called 'main' and put your maps in there.

If they are in a folder on your server called 'tpb' (i.e. an fs_game folder), then create a folder on your webspace called 'tpb' and put your maps in there.

Whatever one it is (either 'main' or 'tpb'), dont mention it in your config settings. You always set one less directory root in the config settings as the server finds that folder automatically.

Thanks for your help! I found out what the problem was. I didn't put "www" in front of the url redirect site: set sv_wwwBaseURL "http://tpbclan.clanservers.com/tpb" should have been like this set sv_wwwBaseURL "http://www.tpbclan.clanservers.com/tpb" and I had the "tpb" directory in the wrong location like you said. It's working, however I'm having other issues now. The test map I put in there to try continuously downloads (e.g. Time Remaining -60secs). It gets to about 56MB (when the map size is 16.7MB) and reconnects to the server and starts over with the download. Any clue why?

If a map continuously trys to download, its because the 2 files - one on the server, the other on the redirect space - are not identical.

FTP the file from the server to the redirect space. That should solve the problem.
