My server works just fine, i got all the things i want, everything works, i just dont get anyone in it. it is an internet dedicated game, but it only shows up in my LAN connection, not in the internet. i havent seen others join, so i dont think they see it either. my firewall is off, and i forwarded my ports just as portforward.com told me to. any resolutions??

I edited your post. Please read the forum rules and guidelines if your unsure about what you can and cannot post. Discussion of cracking servers is not allowed here.

As for your server listing, it is showing up in All Seeing Eye and Gamespy. So, the fact that it isnt attracting players isnt because it isnt showing.

Only way to get players on the server is to play on it yourself. This sometimes means sitting on an empty server for a map or two.

Also, invite as many players as you can onto it. Perhaps you know a clan that could help you populate it? I have done this before, by inviting a clan or 2 onto my server just to get a few games going.

make sure your filters are setup to view all servers, empty or otherwise.

COD2 has the Master Server list built into the game. As soon as you host a dedicated server, the informaton is transmitted to them.
