so your more or less saying that the keycode used is rejected because it thinks that it isn't alegit copy of the game...and i already new i couldn't really use a key gnerator but had to try it...i would swap the game but losed recipt =[ so if knowone can help it working ill just ill trade it in for a different game
product keys are one of a kind, so there cant be any stiuation when the same key would be used by two distinct person at the same time. single player doesnt require a product key, only the dvd or other medium it was installed from to verify the person running it really has the original game. multiplayer doesnt require the dvd, insted it uses the product key which the user provided at the install. whenever someone connects to a game server, the game tells the activision master server that this person is playing online, please store his/her product key. when this happens, the master server wont accept the same key from anyone, untill the person using it quits the game.
generated keys are bad, because lots of people have a pirated copy of the game and they use these keygens to get a valid-like product key, and even though it can provide lots of keys its still not unlimited, so it's unlikely a generated key will work without beeing already in use.
so someone must have controll of my product key
