Hey guys I was wondering if the high settings in cod4 i.e. water, model, dynamic lighting detail were disabled in windows xp cuz mine only go to "normal". Are the high settings like a Vista exclusive type deal? Ive heard that that is not the case from other people but I thought I would get to the bottom of it once and for all. The only possible way to push anything up to "high" as far as I know is a command I found while exploring some of the console commands. It is something like /r_lodLevel or sumthing, this gives u 4 options, lowest, low, medium and highest. This is just the level of detail setting though and I'm pretty sure it defaults to 4, which is highest. So, are the high settings Vista exclusive? Or can i edit some .cfgs to unlock the eye candy. Thanks, all advice is appreciated.

no it isn't Vista or Direct X 10 exclusive because i have Vista and Direct X 10 and mine can only go to Normal also, just the way the graphic settings are, so don't worry you're not missing out on that feature :)
