I've noticed in the properties of my skins that they have been blocked, but even once I have unblocked them, skins do not work! Could it be due to patch 1.7? Help would be greatly appreciated. PS: I mean SP skins, not MP skins.

make folder SP_Skins, put it in "Mods" folder, Add skins to it

C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\Mods\SP_Skins

make shortcut with Target: "C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\iw3sp.exe" +set fs_game mods/SP_Skins

:google: It's your friend.

Hmm, gonna have to try that. It's a bit strange though because in all readme's it says to put the skin in the mods folder. Just, the mods folder. Now, a little help for something else would be nice too, everytime I download the skin, if I try to put it somwhere in one of my CoD4 folders, it does not appear, unles I'm downloading another file, where it shows, but is not accesable. Thanks for the help anyway.

Alright, no big deal anyway. One last problem I have is that for all skins, and certain mods such as the Long Training mod, I try to load a mission it affects, and an error comes up saying "Cannot create hunkusage.dat". Any possible help for this?

Try deleting the hunkusage.dat file from, Default.. C:\Program Files\Activision\Call of Duty 4 - Modern Warfare\main and then try again.

Strange, I don't have hunkusage.dat in there, only iw_#.iwd and localized_english ect. files. Could this be the problem?

I'm playing with Windows Vista Home Premium (6.0). And, I'm not sure if I am playing under an admimistrative account because at times I access files wich require admisitrative abilities, however at others I have to change permissions for regular users. I only have one account/profile on this computer though.

OK from what I've read about this is.. you need to run the game under and Admin account. I don't know how you setup Admin accounts in Vista, but that's what you gotta do first.
